Stone Sand Co. Inc began as Du Bois Sand Company back in the 1930s. In 1963, it became Stone Sand Co. Inc and was incorporated in July of 2000. Nelson Stone became the President of Stone Sand Co. Inc when he was born. He grew up coming to work with his mother and father every day since he was 4 days old. This business is what he was destined to do.

In 2007, he was interviewed by the Great Bend Tribune and was quoted, "It was already a successful company, and I've been around it all my life. It is all I've ever known. It's what my mother and father worked their whole lives for me to have. My mother and father poured their heart and soul into it. I have a son growing up in the business just like I did, and I hope to build a business for him to have if he wants it."

These days, Nelson's oldest son Connor, and youngest son Kason visit the office regularly. They are following in their father's footsteps, just like Nelson did. No job is too big or too small for our team. Contact us today!
